Triumph Center Teletherapy & Coronavirus Guidelines Updates

Dear Parents/Guardians and Clients:

Update 3/16/20: Click here to download all forms necessary to do teletherapy with Triumph Center clinicians.

Update 3/15/20:  Due to precautions associated with the coronavirus, the Triumph Center is strongly advising that all individual and family counseling sessions be conducted via internet telecommunication (i.e., real-time video and audio communication). In person sessions may still be available if clinically indicated and at the discretion of your clinician. Please speak with your clinician to discuss treatment options.

Update 3/2/20:  We would like to provide you with our updated policy regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) and/or flu-like symptoms, which is based on guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  We hope you understand that our policy reflects common sense practice that you would likely implement at home.  CDC recommends individuals and families follow everyday preventive measures:

  • Voluntary Home Isolation: Stay home when you are sick.
  • Respiratory Etiquette: Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw it in the trash can.
  • Hand Hygiene: Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with 60%-95% alcohol.
  • Environmental Health Action: Routinely clean frequently touched surfaces and objects

Routine use of these measures by individuals and their families will increase community resilience and readiness for any illness. We will continue to monitor the health of our staff and will follow these same guidelines.

If you, or your child, are displaying any symptoms of coronavirus, flu, or respiratory illness, we ask that you stay home and consult with your physician. Please follow these guidelines and let us know immediately if you or your child presents with any symptoms of illness.

If you or your child are unable to attend any therapy at the Triumph Center due to illness, please call and notify the office.  You will not be billed for missing sessions due to illness during this time, and a doctor’s note will not be required.  If you, or your child, are actively sick and attend any therapy at the Triumph Center, we will request you go home and contact a physician for safety.  We hope this is helpful in clarifying our policy.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
