Evaluations

The Triumph Center offers comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults between the ages of 5 and 22. Evaluations can provide insight into areas such as cognitive and executive functioning skills, social-emotional and personality functioning, and academic abilities. Common areas of concern include neurodevelopmental and social vulnerabilities, attention problems, learning difficulties, and complex emotional and behavioral regulation challenges. Evaluations aid in diagnostic clarification and inform treatment recommendations and educational planning (including vocational and post-secondary planning). Evaluations can offer diagnostic clarification regarding diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, anxiety and depressive disorders, learning disorders, and others.

Our evaluation process involves an initial interview with a parent or guardian to gather history and better understand concerns and testing questions. One of our skilled evaluators will then develop a battery of testing measures to thoroughly address the testing and referral questions. Testing is typically conducted over two partial day appointments.

The cost for an evaluation is $3500. This cost covers the initial interview, all testing necessary to address the referral question(s), a comprehensive written report, and one testing feedback session. The evaluator may be able to participate in additional meetings (with parents/guardians or other providers or school personnel) at an additional cost. If paying out of pocket, our office can provide you with the necessary documentation to submit to your insurance if you are able to access out-of-network benefits.

Our evaluators are also available to collaborate with schools, offering evaluations on-site, coordinating with educators, and providing consultations to resolve unresolved questions from previous evaluations. Please see our Consulting Services for additional details.
